Chapter 31: alpha chamber

Third POV

As the different colors of light blue, yellows and pink dance over the morning sky, both Darius and Aleera were in a deep sleep in the new bedroom that Darius carried Aleera to last night after she fell asleep in the kitchen from their late-night love session. The room had a comfortable brown king size bed with light brown cushions, fuchsia-colored curtains that framed the glass door to the balcony, and wooden furniture making the bedroom look and feel cozy with the main color of the room being different color browns giving it a rich and earthy look.

The sun was mid-high in the sky when Aleera slowly started waking up. She slowly moved her hand up to her eyes to rub the sleepiness away. When she fully opened her eyes the first thing she noticed was the chocolate-colored walls instead of the dark beige walls that were in her room letting her know that she was not in her room.

"Do not suggest that we should get up right now." Darius mumbled out in a sleepy voice before he yawned and snuggled closer to Aleera.

A smile grew on her lips when he had said it and she tried to move around to face him but his grip on her got tighter restricting her from being able to move around.

"I was only trying to turn around so I could look at you." She said with a low voice.

"I know, but right now i don't want you to move. Can't we just stay like this just a little more before you move? I have dreamt about this for far too long." Darius said to her.

Aleera did what he had asked for and just laid still as Darius pulled her closer and snuggled up to her., Aleera was still exhausted after all the sex thay had yesterday and was sore everywhere so she tired to relax into his warmth. "Because you wanted to stay in bed snuggle with me and I wanted to get up." She answered him while looking down.

"But why does it feel like you're upset with me?" Aleera asked in a low voice.

Darius sat up and looked over at Aleera who was standing at the end of the bed. He patted beside him so she would come and sit next to him.

"I love you too much to ever be mad at you, so never think that i would ever be mad at you." He said as he leaned in and pecked her lips before he got up and turned around to face her.

"Now that we are up maybe we should start doing our duty as this packs Alpha and Luna." He tells her with a smile on his face. Aleera gave him a small smile and asked a question that took him by surprise.

"Are you sure that I will do a good job as this packs luna and how will I know that they have accepted me, an outsider as their luna?"

"You will do a fine job as our luna. Plus they have already accepted you as their luna."

Aleera looked down when she uttered. "But I don't know what kind of things a luna is supposed to do."

She just looked at him, she understood why they wanted the party but she was frightened about it. She reluctantly nodded her head and grabbed Darius's shirt that was on the floor and started to walk towards the door but paused before she got there. She turned around to look at him when a question flew into her mind.

“Darius, how did we get here?”

“I carried you here last night, I believe that it is time for us to move to this room.” He said with a smile.

“And what room is this?”

“This is the Alpha chamber.” He informed her as she gave a small but confused nod to him.

“And what about my stuff?”

“I will ask an omega to move all your stuff over to this room today while we are in the kitchen getting something to eat.”

She smiled then pulled Darius’s shirt over her head and let it fall down her body, his shirt went all the way down to her knees and then she turned around and walked out the alpha chamber to her old room to get some of her own clothing with Darius following her dressed in only shorts.

She walked to her closet to grab some of her own clothing and then she walked over to the bathroom to take a quick shower after all the amazing things that happened last night.

She pulled off his shirt and got into the shower with Darius still following her into the shower. Nicole was quick to notice the mark Darius had left on Aleeras neck and she looked over to Darius and noticed the mark Aleera had left on his neck.

"I see that you both have finally marked each other. So when will we have the Luna celebration for her?"

"Hopefully as soon as possible." Darius said back to Nicole.

"Do we really need to have a party?" Aleera asked them all in a low voice making everyone turn their heads to look at her.

"Of course we need to have this party, it’s a tradition in every pack to have this kind of celebration when they find the Alpha or the Luna." Nicole said back to Aleera. When Aleera was about to respond the door to the kitchen opened and in walked the third in command, Samuel, with a few more people behind him.

Aleera looks up to look at the new people that walk in. She noticed one of the girls that was giving her a death stare as they all sat down at the table behind them.

"Who is she?" Aleera heard the sound of a girl's voice from the table that held so much poison in her tone.

"She is your Luna." Darius said firmly without turning to look at them as he put together a few yummy looking sandwiches for Aleera and him to eat. He then turned around and walked back to Aleera and served the food to her and sat down beside her to eat his food.

Aleea turned to look at the people behind her again and noticed the same girl as before was still looking at her with a death stare. Aleera felt unease in the kitchen right now, something felt off being in here right now.

Aleera looked back at Nicole. "But I am still healing from my past and I don't think I am ready to take on such huge responsibility.”

"We know that you are still healing, that's why we will only hold the party and then we will take your duty step by step." Darius said as he took her hand in his.

"But what can I bring to this pack?" Aleera asked.

"Nothing." The same girl as before said from the table.

"Shut up." Darius snapped out in an angry voice at her but this time he looked at her before he turned around to face Aleera.

"My love, you will bring everything to this pack. I will take on the heaviest duty until you have healed up from your past.”

Aleera looked deep into Darius’s eyes but she broke the eye contact and looked at everyone in this room, the last person she had eye contact with was with the girl who looked like she wanted to kill her and then looked back at Darius.

"I am sorry, I can't." Aleera said and got up from her seat and ran out from the kitchen.

Darius got up from his seat too and was about to run after her when he felt a hand on his arm that stopped him from going after his luna when he looked back he saw it was Nicole.

"Let me talk to her." She said to Darius who nodded his head and let Nicole go after Aleera hoping it would be better if a girl talk would be good for her.
